The white days are 3 days of the Hijri month during which fasting is strongly recommended. Imam Tirmidhi reports that the Prophet Muhammad - that peace be upon him - he said "If you want to fast three days a month, fast on the 13th, 14th and 15th day." Fasting is an act highly rewarded by Allah Almighty. Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Allah, the Majestic and the Exalted said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting. It is done for me, and I will give a reward for this. By Allah in whose hand is the life of Muhammad, the breath of the observer of the fast is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.
